Shipping Options

Ground Shipping:

AZ, CA, CO, ID, NM, NV, OR and WA: 2 to 3 Business Days
Other States: 4 to 7 Business Days
NJ: Due to state regulations, shipments to NJ may be delayed and will arrive approximately 2 weeks from leaving our warehouse

Need It Faster?

For expedited rates, select your shipping address at checkout and review the options from the dropdown list of shipping methods. For express shipping options, please note that orders may take up to 48 hours to prepare prior to shipping.

Summer Shipping

To maintain the integrity of every bottle you purchase during the warm summer months, we recommend expedited shipping or temperature controlled shipping. Please call 800-898-8890 for more information.

Temperature Controlled Shipping

When choosing temperature controlled shipping, please allow 1-2 weeks of transit time. All orders are on a 55-degree temperature controlled truck until it arrives to the local UPS hub in IL, FL, NY and TX. Delivery is 1-2 business days from the UPS hub, but please be aware they are delivered in a regular ground UPS truck that is not temperature controlled.

Weather Holds

Due to extreme temperatures, some orders may be placed on a weather hold or delayed. We do not ship when temperatures fall below 25 degrees or exceed 90 degrees; we will offer the purchase of icepacks on orders 86-95 degrees and upgraded shipping options (for an additional expense) that will deliver within 1-2 days.

Tracking Numbers & Shipping Confirmation

Once your package ships, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number.
Please note: Due to state laws, tracking numbers to New Jersey will not be activated until the wine reaches the state line. Once scanned in at your local FedEx facility, your delivery information will be available. Tracking numbers for orders shipped with UPS Temperature Control shipping will not be activated until the wine reaches the local UPS hub.

Why doesn’t my tracking number work? (It isn’t updating.)

For most states, tracking numbers will show and be active when your wines ships from our warehouse.

States Where Wine Cannot Be Delivered

Due to state laws we are unable to ship wine to AR, IN, MS, TN and UT.
If you live in these states, you can still send wine as a gift to an eligible state!

Over 21 Requirements

Both the buyer and recipient must be 21 years or older with verification during purchase and upon receipt.

Federal And State Regulations – ID’s and Date Of Birth

Currently, regulatory compliance with state and federal law requires us to keep a valid identification number or date of birth on file for you (driver’s license, passport, or military identification number) as proof of your legal age.

What if I am going to be away when my shipment is scheduled to arrive?

You may redirect your package to another address, or delay the delivery If your order is currently in transit and you or another adult 21+ are unable to accept the delivery at the original address, you may request to have your order redirected to a new address within the same state, request a delayed delivery date, or return the package to sender.

Redirects can be handled through UPS or FedEx; additional fees may apply.

Redirecting, delayed delivery, and return to sender options are charged a carrier imposed fee $22 per package, and will be charged to your CC on file.

  • The redirect must be through the original carrier.
  • You may request a redirect through our website, or through the carrier directly.
  • We cannot ship or redirect any wine orders to PO Boxes; they must be shipped to a business location or a residential address.
  • We cannot ship to a different state than the original destination state. Due to state laws, we are unable to redirect packages to the following states: AR, IN, MS, OH, UT.
  • Please submit the electronic form to request a redirect.

Delayed Delivery:

  • Packages can only be delayed 10 business days from the original estimated delivery date.
  • We are unable to request weekend delivery or specific delivery times with the carriers.
  • Please submit the electronic form to request a delayed delivery.


If your order has been returned to our warehouse due to a failed delivery attempt, damage, etc. we can reship to the same or new address as requested.

This comes with a carrier imposed of fee of $22 per package that will be charged to your CC on file.

Orders placed for will call pick-up will be available at the Tasting Room during normal business hours. Please note our current hours:

Processing & Fulfillment

Please allow 24-48 hours processing time for orders placed online or by phone for will call pick-up. In the event that the winery needs more time for packing, or procuring inventory, you will be notified within 24 – 48 hours of purchase. For expedited order processing, please call the Tasting Room directly, 707-935-4515.

Due to storage limitations, orders containing both Benziger and Imagery brand wines will only be available for pick-up at the Benziger Family Winery location. If your order cannot be picked-up at the location selected, you will be notified within 24 – 48 hours of purchase.

Pick-Up Deadlines

Daily Orders placed online or by phone must be picked up at the winery within 30 days of purchase. Orders not picked-up within this timeframe will be shipped to the default address on file and standard shipping rates will apply.

Wine Club Orders must be picked up by the Wine Club Pick-Up Deadline communicated in all Club Correspondence each season. Orders that are not picked-up by the Wine Club Pick-Up Deadline will be shipped to the default address on file and standard shipping rates will apply. Club Members are notified of pick-up status and deadlines via email prior to and after each Club Order Charge.
